Session information about your PAWtraits experience:

Before your session:
You know your Pet/s better than anyone!

We have a both an indoor and outdoor (fully fenced) studio in Northcote.
Is there something specific you would like us to capture?
Anything in particular your pet is known for?
Are there any toys or noises that you know bring out their personalities? Please mention it.

This is where we all get to have some fun, we will create some amazing images that focus on the special relationship between you and your pet/s, and the individuality of each family member.
At your session:
Usually between 30 mins – 1 hour.
Many of your animals will be photographed in an outdoor setting,
so we are always considering the weather and best lighting times.
Based in Melbourne (known for four season in one day),
we understand that changes in weather can mean a shoot needs to be rescheduled or relocated.
If the weather is forecast to be temperamental on the day of your shoot,
we will touch base with you, to discuss what you would prefer to do.
We always have our fingers and toes crossed that for the duration of the shoot
the rain will hold off, and so far this seems to have worked!
Of the 120 Pet PAWtrait Sessions we did last year
only 1 was rescheduled due to bad weather and a few rained just before
shooting commenced and straight after but never during.
Like the weather there are certain things that can not be controlled,
we understand this at PAWtraits and try to be as accommodating as possible.
We appreciate as much advance notice as is possible.
Multiple rescheduling may result in an additional session fee.

We love what we do and love to be able to share these beautiful moments with your family and yourself. All images are available for purchase, we have a range of products with something to suit everyone’s tastes and budgets.
After your session:
At the conclusion of your photo-session we make a time for you to come to our studio to view and purchase your images, usually this is within 2-10 days from the shoot date. This is when you get to choose which images you love the most and what sizes you’d like to enlarge them to. With a coffee in hand, you will be shown approximately 30-40 images from your session in a slideshow on a projector screen. We can project your images at actual sizes, this is a great help to assist you in choosing what is right for your home. We can even provide a virtual viewing experience…just ask us how!
Evening appointments are available for your viewing/purchasing appointment.
Please ask, these vary.
Unfortunately, Viewing/Purchasing appointments cannot be done on weekends,
Saturdays are our busiest days and we are always out photographing.
We are closed on Sunday.
Viewing/purchasing appointments are also available anytime during the week, by appointment. (normal business hours).
